5. Examination Results and Certification

1. Preliminary (MCQ) Examination Results:

- Results are communicated via email within eight weeks.

- No results are provided over the phone.

2. Final (Clinical) Examination Results:

- Results are also sent by email within eight weeks.

- No results are given by telephone.

3. Certification:

- Candidates who pass both the Preliminary and Final Examinations receive a certificate from the AVBC.

- The AVE Certificate in Veterinary Science allows candidates to apply for full registration in any state or territory in Australia or New Zealand.

- Candidates must present the certificate to the relevant Veterinary Board or Council in the region where they wish to register.
